1456 Walk in aid of Neuroblastoma Society.
Members of Lodge Camelon No 1456 supported by members of Lodges No 16, 484, 588, 793 together with family members walked the 10 miles from the Falkirk Wheel to the Brig Inn, Linlithgow on Saturday 17th May 2014.
The walk was in aid of the Neuroblastoma Society and also to help to provide a trip to Disneyworld Florida for Ashlee, grand-daughter of Bro Brian O’Connor PM (1456), who has been undergoing treatment for this condition in Yorkhill Sick Children's Hospital for an extended period of time. Neuroblastoma is a very rare and aggressive form of child cancer.
On Wednesday 29th October Bro Brian, accompanied by the RWM Bro John Merrilees and a number of Lodge Brethren met with Denise Power, representative of Neuroblastoma Society and Ashlee and mum Lisa and presented them with the magnificent sum of £4200 and £4000 respectively.
