Wreath Laying Ceremony at Cowie Update

Just a reminder that Provincial Grand Lodge will be laying a wreath to commemorate the end of WW1 at Cowie war memorial on Sat 22nd September at 2:00pm.

Meet at Village Hall opposite at 1:45pm at the latest.

We will be accompanied by the Lord Lieutenant, The Provosts of Falkirk and Clackmannan of course there will be a group of The Widows Sons Scotland who have been supporting all the Ceremonies throw-out Scotland. I am sure David Reid GSW will be in attendance and possibly a representative from Poppy Scotland.

Dress for the day Provincial Grand Lodge, stripes, short jackets Provincial Grand Lodge tie and  regalia. Same for Lodges dark suits Lodge tie and regalia. Medals, caps and uniforms may be worn if appropriate.

In response to the new poppy pin we have orders for approx. 300 some Lodges have not responded. Any Lodge wishing to order should contact Provincial Grand Secretary  before the end of Sept.

To keep on my good side please come and represent your Lodge on the day. I do not expect the ceremony to last much more than a hour

There will be a cup of tea and something to eat in the hall afterwards and the school will be open for parking and  dressing in the village hall.
