A win for 1483 at the Bowls

The Stirling and District Masonic Bowling Association staged the annual Christison Bowling Trophy Competition at Polmaise Bowling Club, Fallin on Sunday 18^th May 2014.

Sadly only two Lodges from the west of the Province took part. Lodge Loch Lomond No 1483 retained the trophy narrowly defeating Lodge Ancient Stirling No 30 on shots having shared the points.

An appeal to all Lodges is made for next year. Perhaps the western Lodges could communicate with Brother Brian Wright, Association Secretary, with a view to discussing how the Competition can be taken forward. The Competition has survived for 68 years and it seems a shame that it should be discontinued for lack of support.
