2015 Annual PGL Bowling

The Annual Bowling Competition which was held, this year, in the premises of Polmont Bowling Green, the host Lodge was Lodge Polmont No 793, on Sunday 16^th August 2015.

22 teams took part in the competition, which was played on one of the best days, weather wise, this year.

Finalists

Lodge Clackmannan No. 1303 against Lodge Callendar No. 588.

After the first end Clackmannan took a four shot lead. It was all square at four shots each after three ends. Callendar then took four shots after the fourth end making the score eight shots to four. In the fifth and final end Lodge Clackmannan clawed back one shot but it was to no avail as Lodge Callendar ran out the winners by eight shots to five.

Winners:- Lodge Callendar No 588 (I Crozier, I Hamilton, D Walls & A Crichton)

Runners-up:- Lodge Clackmannan No 1303 (R Bond, G Gallacher, T Walker & W Bullock)

Beaten Semi-finalists:- Lodge Abercromby No. 531 & Lodge Craiginnan Dollar No 850

Prizes were presented by Mrs Jen Marshall the wife of the RWPGM Bro Alistair T Marshall.
