Auld Degree at Lodge Carron

As part of the continuing celebrations of the 250th Anniversary year of Lodge Carron No 139, the Lodge invited The Mother Lodge of Scotland, Mother Kilwinning No 0 to work an exemplification of the “Auld Degree” on Saturday 13th May 2017.

Some 29 brethren from Mother Kilwinning and friends headed by the Right Worshipful Master Bro Charles Hughes were in attendance. The brethren from Mother Kilwinning appeared in period costume and enacted an exemplification of the Entered Apprentice and Fellow Craft as practised by that Lodge circa 1695.

The audience were suitably entertained and in awe of the uniqueness of the ceremonial.

A picture of the main characters who  took part in the degree and of the respective Lodge Right Worshipful Masters Bro Tam Meikle and Bro Charles Hughes are below.
