Stirlingshire Member Gets Grand Honours

On Thursday the 25^h October 2010 at the Annual Communication of Grand Lodge, the Most Worshipful Grand Master announced that Brother Archie Mackay, of Lodge St Andrew (Denny and Loanhead) No 176 and been given Honorary Grand Rank of Sword Bearer, which had been awarded by Grand Lodge to Brother Archie in recognition of his services not only to his own Lodge, to Provincial Grand Lodge but also to Freemasonry in general.

The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master presented Brother Mackay with his Diploma and Jewel at the Regular meeting of Lodge St Andrew on the 23rd December, indicating that it gave him great personal  pleasure to  present Brother Archie with the Grand Lodge Rank of Honorary Grand Sword Bearer, an honour which was well deserved.

In response Brother Archie thanked the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master for this Honour which was greatly appreciated by him.
