60-Year Jubilee Presentation at Denny

Brother Eric Burke has been presented with a Jubilee certificate to mark his 60 years of membership at Lodge St Andrew No 176 (Denny & Loanhead).

The presentation was made by Right Worshipful Master  Brother Archie Young Mackay at the final meeting for the session, on Thursday 26th April 2018 assisted by Provincial Grand Master Brother Alistair T Marshall.

Eric joined the Lodge as a Lewis Mason in his late teens and the decision was life changing.

He invited a young lady called Jane to the Annual Ladies Night explaining to her it would be a one-off date as he had plans to go abroad.

Instead of emigrating, Eric married Jane and they have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Brother Eric was joined at the presentation meeting by his son Ian and the picture line-up is completed by 911 PM Danny Holmes, who joined the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master in his capacity as Honorary Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.
