391 Raise Cash for Cancer

Seven Office-bearers of Lodge Zetland No. 391 got together to raise funds for The Prostate Cancer Charity UK.

The photograph below shows the Brethren concerned: Brothers Andy Goodwin, Andy Preston, Scott Morrison, John Russell, Craig Dick and Peter Neilson. Brother Graham Riddell is missing from the photograph but contributed to their efforts.

The magnificent seven grew facial hair (moustache) over the month of November, hence the project took the name ‘Movember’ and the individuals collectively the ‘Movember Brothers’.

This led to much mirth, corny comments and leg-pulling etc. But the Brethren survived the ordeal.

Much beer was effectively filtered by the hirsute appendages in the process.

The sponsored growths realised the handsome sum of £1,872.50 for their designated Charity.
