Brother Colin Terris Wyse, Past Master of Lodge St Servanus No 771 and Past Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire was presented with a diploma marking a remarkable 60 years membership of the craft.
The presentation took place on Monday 10th November 2008 in his Mother Lodge, Lodge St Servanus No 771.
The Secretary of the Lodge read the minute from 1948 when Brother Colin was initiated into the Lodge. The Right Worshipful Master of Lodge St Servanus, Brother Craig O'Connor, gave a history of Brother Colin's membership of the Craft, from his initiation through to him taking the chair of his Mother Lodge in 1965 and onto his installation as Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master in 1990. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Brother John McKenzie, then thanked Brother Colin for all the support he has given to his Mother Lodge, Provincial Grand Lodge and to Freemasonry in general.
Bro. Colin was then presented with his jewel, diploma and various gifts from the Lodge.
Brother Wyse thanked Brother Craig O'Connor for his in depth history of his career in the Craft. He also thanked the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master for his kind words and thanked the Provincial Grand Lodge office-bearers, Lodge Past Master's, Office-Bearers and Brethren of the Lodge and the visiting Brethren for gifts that were bestowed on him this evening.
