1456 Walk in aid of Neuroblastoma Society.

Members of Lodge Camelon No 1456 supported by members of Lodges No 16, 484, 588, 793 together with family members walked the 10 miles from the Falkirk Wheel to the Brig Inn, Linlithgow on Saturday 17th May 2014.

The walk was in aid of the Neuroblastoma Society and also to provide a trip to Disneyworld Florida for Ashlee, granddaughter of Bro Brian O’Connor PM (1456), who has been undergoing treatment for this condition in Yorkhill Sick Childrens Hospital for an extended period of time. Neuroblastoma is a very rare and aggressive form of child cancer.

In all 42 people took part in the walk and raised a significant sum of money for the two recipients. The RW Master Bro John Merrilees announced to the Lodge on Thursday evening that the total amount raised by  the Brethren and their supporters was an amazing £7750. The Lodge added £250 to the total therefore giving an overall donation to the Charity  of

£8000
