PGM Presents Cheques
RWPGM Brother Gordon Sewell accompanied by PG Secretary Brother Ronnie Hay skipped around the Province this week presenting cheques to various organisation.
The PGM presented cheques, on behalf of the Brethren of the Province, of £500 each to Drymen, Croftamie and Buchanan Covid-19 Support Group, to Gate Food Bank, Alloa and to Falkirk Foodbank.
The money was raised from a virtual whisky
tasting evening, organised by Brother Andrew Goodwin PM Lodge Zetland No
391. On that evening we had the pleasure of the company of Brother
Ramsay McGhee GMM. and Alex Bruce from Adelphi Distilleries along with
many Brethren from within and out with the Province, the evening was
arranged to sell off the remaining bottles marking the 275th Anniversary
of the PGL of Stirlingshire. As the anniversary date had passed it was
agreed that the money raised would go to nominated charities in the
Province. Thank you to Brother Goodwin PM and all the Brethren who
contributed to this fine sum of money.

The PGM also presented a cheque, on behalf of the Brethren of the the Province, of £300 to Alva food bank, the food bank covers an area from Menstrie to Milnathort, the money was raised from the PGL of Stirlingshire Charity Lottery, thank you to Brother William Reid PM Lodge Clackmannan No 1303 and PSPGW. for organising and promoting the Lottery.
He also presented a cheque, on behalf of the Brethren, of £700 to Morag Idan of Prostate Scotland, the money raised, £350, by selling Hirams Wheels tokens which was match funded by PGL. bringing the total to £700.
